Bush has been protecting Rove from Cheney. Rove is now protecting himself from Cheney...or, more to the point, trying re-direct the attention to Cheney's guys who got him in trouble in the first place. What a little stink bomb! Remember, Scotty's the WH spokesman not the BH spokesman. Don't forget Ari either. Good timing is everything. All those guys may get some too but Fitz didn't threaten to put journos in jail because he didn't have anymore cards to play. He's squeezing them and making others sweat. Cheney's guys shopped it to pocket journos that would shop it to other journos. The others looked for confirmation. After 20 minutes of that...the whole network was so full of chatter that no one would know where to even start looking for the source. Especially if the pocket journos clammed up. And everybody's guilty so nobody's stepping forward to cooperate. But Fitz figured it out. Judy is nothing. Time has more. There's some guys sweating this. Nobody takes it seriously until they think they might really go to jail. Then the whole world changes. You've seen it before. You’re on it. Bush has been protecting Rove from Cheney.
