I understand and share your anger with this mob of fascists, but writing to congress isn’t going to do a damn thing. We all need to point to the 2006 elections; but first of all, we need to ensure that our votes will be counted correctly this time. Voting is controlled at the state level. Make sure your state does it right. Get involved. Demand that objective observers be allowed to monitor the poles and the counting. Support organizations like BlackBoxVoting.org. Make sure that law suites are filed to force state election officials to ensure that recounts can be made by hand.

This congress is all tied to the Republican Machine. The Democrats currently in office are next to useless. We must take the country back from the grass roots up, and we don’t have much time. Get active, get involved and do it where it counts rather than preaching to the choir.

First: Crawford, Iraq War and Cindy Sheehan

Second: Hurricane Katrina, not a theory

Third: Rove and Scooter (and who knows who else) get indicted.

As hard as this may be for many to accept, the ’social conscience’ of america died way back in November of ‘63…and on that day both parties agreed to play by a new set of rules. Your country has never been the same. South Africa had its ‘truth and reconciliation’ hearings to help it bury the ugly past that it could no longer hide from…your turn now. The ‘terrorists’ don’t hate your freedoms…they hate what republicans do with them. I don’t think the terrorists hate the US as much as the republicans seem to hate their own government and fellow citizens who don’t share their greedy, xenophobic view of the world. Remember: conservatives are, by nature, addicted to ‘easy answers to complex questions’…everything else is simply beyond them.
