I read a Houston Chronicle article which mentioned that a squadron of Predators was going to be stationed at AWOL Bush’s old TANG base, Ellington AFB, outside of Houston. The stated mission of the Predators would be to fly reconnaisance flights along the Texas/Mexico border. For some reason, I’m suspicious of that claim since the border is so far away and there’s bound to be a U.S. AFB closer to the border from which they could be flown.

Besides, wouldn’t those Predator Spy Planes be better utilized in Iraq protecting our troops, or over in Afghanistan flying over the Afghan/Pakistani border and looking for signs of Osama bin Laden and the Taliban?

Unless, of course, Rumsfeld and Cheney have some domestic spying missions in mind here in the U.S., and are funding the operations with secret slush funds.

Yeah, that sounds about right. They are unpatriotic scum.
