I am now happy that I did not spit on Bob Barr when I had the chance at the Atlanta Airport in ‘99. That said, I fear that when one like Barr seems resoanable, we may have gone much too far down a dangerous road.

Congress is filled with hypocrites and liars. Many of these guys have known about these illegal and unconstitutional practices of Bush for a long time, but have said nothing until now. America is already finished; long live King George, who must by now have several hundred impeachable offenses against him, but the Congress does nothing, except babble, and the people act like lambs going to slaughter.

I thought Barr was much too hard on Bill Clinton for lying about a personal matter, but he’s one of the few Clinton persecutors who has been consistent, by speaking out against Bush’s abuses of power.

Barr is even working with the (oh so dreaded by the right wing) ACLU to try to stop the abuses.
