Earthling hit the nail on the head. Americans have over a period of several decades grown fearful of freedom itself. Maybe it was the Civil Rights Movement, hippies, jazz, pot, commies under every couch ....who knows? The fact of the matter is that with every new bogeyman, there was a GOPPER eager to exploit the fear in order to advance a fascist agenda. What we are left with is a country afraid of the principles of our very founding.

Kool Aid? Won't need it.

Just look up on a blue sky day and see the planes spreading their chem-trail garbage.

Most don't notice, but some do. It's called weather modification. But what is it really? Practice?

One day it may be a form of population control ... when things are out of control.

That will put the fear of god in 'em.

I am not sure whether Shruib's followers are a cult, but they sure behave like it. Their denial of obvious facts put them in the same category as other fundamentalists.

More than that Shrub's behaviour (along with Cheney) has convinced me that those two are completely insane.

Isn't insanity defined by someone repeating the same actions, in spite of past failures, hoping for a different outcome? If that doesn't categorize those two, what does?

"How do we deprogram 100 million people?"

Unfortunately, this cult operates like a negative feedback loop. So like the old Witch Hunts and the more recent Suppressed Memories-Child Abuse frenzy, it will have to run its absurd course unless a charasmatic visionary steps on stage. There seems no one persuasive or trenchant enough to be successfully off-axis, at least for the moment.

But this cult is screwing the pooch every which way. It sure makes impeaching Clinton over a blow job laughable.

"Either you want to believe, or you want to know."

"How do we deprogram 100 million people?"

Kool-aid"

===

Hilarious here we have a person advocating the very same thing others have loathed on this blog, as it was done in Jones-town by a religous nut.

Is "smirt" a similar nut-case albeit without a religious faith?

Maybe he wants to follow the path Pol Pot and others of his ilk trod?

Killing people just because they disagree with his "personal" opinion?

a very enlightened standpoint this, really....

If it wasn't so SAD I'd laugh but I can't...
