He knew when he was first considered for the FEMA job through his pal Allbaugh that he was not sufficiently qualified for the position -- yet he showed no compunction in accepting it when a person of true conscience would have declined in favor of a more qualified individual, bearing in mind that this position is one which has the potential for great impact on the lives and welfare of many Americans. Then, when Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast, "Brownie" quickly realized that he was in over his head but tried to deflect responsibility by feigning ignorance. Finally, after being forced out of his position in disgrace, he's still attempting to deflect blame by attempting to blackmail the Bush administration! Utterly despicable -- does this man have *no* shame whatsoever? I wish him the best of luck in finding a new position, because he'll need it.
