quote from Jill:
"Why do I get the feeling that this impromptu visit was possibly a veiled threat to the new Iraqi PM of some sort? Did the blatant (or totally moronic) staging of “look you in the eye”… where W actually had to stop talking and yes, look him in the eye… seem bizarre to anyone else? Am I the only one who wonders if something decidedly stinky is going on here?"

Jill--I cannot agree more. All you need to do is look at the tape again and you'll see the Iraqi PM is taken aback....as was I. Very uncomfortable moment.
Also, if you look back at GW's "education"--he had one very interesting extracurricular activity--he was a cheerleader!
Does anyone else feel like he's finally putting some of his "education" to use?
The sickest part of it all is how much of the country is either stupid enough to buy into it, or too lazy and jaded now to be outraged by this thinly veiled doggie walk and shake.

{Never has this president or administration acted or done anything that hasn’t had an ulterior motive, that hasn’t benefited him and his cronies. Whatever the surprise trip was, I seriously doubt that it was just another photo op.}

Not having read this blog until tonite, early in the day I said to a friend of mine that Bush and cohorts were there bringing a airplane full of cash, under full escort of the federal goverment, yes this is really turning into the outerlimits tv show. There is something very strange going on!

You know, if I had been a clever capitalist, I would have invested in Barf Bags way back in 2000. Pass the Antacid, these guys are nauseating. Somebody forgot to pack Georgie Porgie's Pom Poms, Rah, Rah, Support Our Troops for 5 minutes. Disgusting display of using our troops to boost your numbers. Busholini and crew are drinking the cool aid.

Bush should have stayed in Iraq...to see how the people would line the streets waving American flags and greeting him as their liberator....as they did Ike affter WWII. Yeah, sure.

Bush is, provably, the worlds leading terrorist....and needs to sneak in and out of any country he visits. For proof:

Nothing new here, Trish. Bush's whole regime is based on lying and the follies such lying gets you into. Liars go on the basis that if you tell enough lies, like the fable of Jesus Christ, soon your lies will become so entangled in themselves they will immitate (or mock)truth and perhaps become accepted "faithfully" as reality, just as the followers of the fabulous Jesus Christ faithfully accept his story as reality. The liars or the inventors of the lies soon begin to believe and trust in their lies. The American people are totally stupid. They are too dumb and badly educated to really get through all of these lies--so, the lazy bastards, simply begin accepting these lies as truths, faithfully accepting them as the real state of affairs because deep down, Americans truly believe their "presidents"--even the first appointed president in our history--can't lie because of their high position. Come November, the Repugnicans will lie and cheat their ways to another victory. The only way to get rid of these fools is to run them out of the WHITE Man's House, a right we are given under the Bill of Rights, a document totally ignored by poor little spoiled privileged rich boys like Georgie Porgie, our "president." The Bushes have their own Bill of Rights (it's called the Dollar Bill--money makes it right). I say Bush represents the White Man's Last Stand against the approaching brownization of the USA. To the White Man, brown is the color of shit; black is the color of sin; yellow is the color of a diseased white man (jaundice or liver trouble), and the color white means purity. Someone whose skin color represents purity therefore cannot lie. Dig the logic?

Right after Prime Minister Maliki
announced that US troops massacre
people like at Haditha every day,
Maliki was forced to stand there
next to George Bush and smile,
and have his picture taken with
him. It could not have been done
if they didnt get Zarqawi, but
a Prime Minister doesnt say US troops are slaughtering people
every day and then just forget it.

Why do I get the feeling that this impromptu visit was possibly a veiled threat to the new Iraqi PM of some sort? Did the blatant (or totally moronic) staging of "look you in the eye"... where W actually had to stop talking and yes, look him in the eye... seem bizarre to anyone else? Am I the only one who wonders if something decidedly stinky is going on here?

Takes me back to a month after 9/11, in a speech to the UN no less, when W actually said "don't listen to conspiracy theorists"... I kept thinking, why on earth would a president bring that up, and to this audience? The nation was just attacked. The world was/is in turmoil and his concern to the UN and the world is conspiracy theorists?

Never has this president or administration acted or done anything that hasn't had an ulterior motive, that hasn't benefited him and his cronies. Whatever the surprise trip was, I seriously doubt that it was just another photo op.

A veritable cornucopia of "good news for the GOP this last week:

Rover is not to be indicted and the investigation of his Royal Froginess is now free to sabatoge the next election.

The "Lazrus of Al Qaeda," the oft killed and maimed, Al Zar----,(what was his name, now?) lived through a double shot of kickass in a metal casing then, finally died. We even have pictures.

Bush called a special meeting at Camp David during which everyone looked bored out of their minds,

Chimpy flies off to the Green Zone like a triumphant noodle-brain. (which he is, because oil prices have gone up something like 40 bucks a gallon since he took office, and GOP contributers (war profitteers have money to burn (or give to the GOP).

Yep, it has been such a good week. But I predict that everything that has occured this week is going to come back to bite the Bushites in the ass.
