Bush Photographed Defacing U.S. Flag

President Bush is photographed trampling an American flag under foot during ceremonies commemorating the fifth anniversary of September 11th, 2001, in New York City.

Swiftboatable: This photo speaks volumes. Imagine how the rightwing noise machine would howl if, say, John Kerry or Jack Murtha — or Bill Clinton — were photographed stepping on an American flag.

As strongly as I detest everything about George W. Bush and all those associated with him, I do NOT believe that using the ROVIAN METHODS is something I would do,or as something I would condone in the actions of others. To do either is to surrender to, and become part and parcel of the very things that make them and their vile ways so totally unacceptable to me, AND THIS I SHALL NEVER DO!

Who does that little SOB think he is, anyway?

That’s MY FLAG, and yours, and yours, and yours…are we going to let him just do this, without protesting?

To Old Gringo: I’m sure the Republicans would appreciate your sense of fair play, but I doubt they will return the favor.

As for me, I will do anything to stop Bush, as long as it’s legal.

You have to admit, the photo is symbolic of Bush’s relationship to America. He’s had his foot on us all for the last five years.

He’s shredded our Constitution so desecrating our flag is no big deal to this f**ker. Isn’t he the one calling for an amendment to prevent things like this?
