Speaking of Chickenhawks, Where Is Mark Foley?

Mark Foley, the GOP chickenhawk of a different feather, checked into the Sierra Tucson Treatment Center in Arizona on Oct. 1, just two days after he resigned from Congress in disgrace.

His stay was to have been 30 days, which means he should have been out of there yesterday.

If former Rep. Foley has been released from rehab, can we assume that our Liberal Media will let us know?

Thanks to Kewalo, who commented below, we now know that:

Former U.S. Rep. Mark Foley has extended his 30-day stay at a pricey rehab center in Arizona, according to acquaintances.

Reporting this new development tonight, Keith Olbermann wagered that Foley would leave rehab the day after the elections next week, Nov. 8.

It was in a FL paper yesterday he was extending his stay. I can’t say this is a surprise. [Link]

Now, now, why worry about a serial sexual harrasser and child-chaser when we can focus on what John Kerry said? Never mind the levels of deciet it took to cover up Foley-gate or the complicity of the Republican party, nothing to see here. John Kerry saying what has been said at countless dinner table in America, now that’s a story! So drink your Kool-aid and go back to sleep.

They must have some nice, tight, young male nurses at this particular rehab center.

    mais naturallement!

but of course Mr MAF54 is extending his stay!

    a) even though he has resigned the HR health bene plan is picking up the cost(s).

    b) cover IS cover and that’s exactly where the NRCC wants his ass, and his mouth covered up.

    c) perhaps he NEEDS antother weeke because he was/is truly fucked up, or at least, that’s what he wants appearances to be…

    d) and, finally, maybe this will give the (lack of) Ethics committe the opportunity to finish their investigation (whitewash) without ‘bothering’ the poor soul(less) man
