Former Rep. Mark Foley, R-Florida, who was forced to resign last year after he was caught sending X-rated emails to congressional page boys, is reportedly returning to his career as a real estate broker. He is remembered around Palm Beach for once netting a $500,000 commission on the sale of a golf course to a local school district.
Former Rep. Jim Kolbe of Arizona, who was for years the only openly gay Republican in the House, has been cleared by the Justice Dept. of charges he was overly avuncular with pages. In particular, he was found not to have behaved inappropriately with youngsters on a wilderness camping trip in 1996. Kolbe had already announced his retirement before the charges were made.
There is at least one allegedly closeted gay Republican remaining in the house, Rep. David Drier of California.

I’m confused. Why isn’t this bastard in prison? A 16 year old page admitted that he and Foley had anal sex on several occasions. He should also not be allowed his pension of close to $200,000 a year. This is absolute bullshit, if it were you or I we would be in prison by now serving at least 10 years. You mean to tell me he blamed the whole thing on alcohol, went to AA and is now off scot free? It just amazes me, the corrupt president, vice president, the present and some past members of the administration, congress and the senate have their own set of rules for themselves and then there’s the law that we must abide by, otherwise spend years in prison. It’s just simply amazing how we let these corrupt bastards to get away with these things without any consequences. these corrupt, sick, criminals get caught red handed and all they have to do is resign and they get to keep a $200,000/yr pension. this country is soooooooooo F@&KED up, it is beyond beleif. there will surely be a revolution in this country if these people who are supposed to be sevring our best interests continue on the same course they have for over 7 years now. i believe it is high time that the malishes of this country unit and take back this country from these uncaring corrupt SOBs. It is coming my friends, we are now being ruled by 535 kings when it was the kings that we came to this country to avoid being ruled by. Now we see ourselves in a position 535 times worst then when we first came to this country. The revolution is coming, even if i have to head it myself because, i m sick and tired of being ruled by the richest 5% of this country and their corrupt puppets.
