The Republicans will never appear at a forum where there is the slightest chance their hate rhetoric will not be applauded.
They don’t need to court the Latino vote anyway. All they have to do is dis-enfranchise them as they have done so successfully with minorities in the last two Presidential elections.

I think the last sentence of this article pretty much sums it up.
I am terribly afraid that the consequences of the republican campaign to work their supporters into a frenzy over immigration will be hate groups targeting hispanic persons whether they are legal or not.
For many, the fact that they mostly all have brown skin is enough reason to hate them. It is very sad.

This is GOOD NEWS! The latinos can be very organized and one-minded as evidenced by their street protests several months ago in regard to immigration policy. I live in Phoenix, AZ, and there were 100,000 latinos in the streets of downtown Phoenix! This is serious organization, the likes of which I have not seen since Vietnam. If only the left could organize (then ACT) like this!
