Can Peace in the Middle East Be Far Behind?
One wonders: The Israeli government has issued a press release stating that by autumn its embassies in the United States will switch to hybrid-electric vehicles:
“Reducing oil dependence and protecting the environment are key factors in improving international security,” Israel’s ambassador to the United States, Sallai Meridor said. “We are proud to be among the first countries to take this small but symbolic step. Our hope is that many small steps taken together will lead to major policy action around the world that will address one of the most critical strategic and environmental issues facing our common future.â€
How about addressing the problem of the environmental impact of rockets and air strikes on Lebanon ….
Iraq have become the source of terrorism in the Middle East and we need to send more troops to destroy foundation. We can’t pull out our troops because few soldiers have died. Then why build an army? or, build tanks and ships?
Soldiers are trained to make sacrifices so the rest of society enjoy our freedom. Sacrifices means freedom…that’s what WW2 was all about. America has become weak and scared…look what Iran and North Korea is doing.
