Hey Anonymous, is this now the official Florida Democratic Party position in Tallahassee -- that the primaries don't matter because they'll be covered on TV? That should really jazz up the base. Please congratulate Karen on yet another boneheaded approach to party politics.

i dont know if any of you idiots have been paying attention, but there is a primary on jan 29 in florida, for both parties. its just a matter of delegates to the national convention and when that'll be decided. who the hell cares about that (unless youre one of the 200 privileged people who get to go)? the media is going to cover the winner of our democratic primary just as they will cover the winner of the republican primary. youre a moron if you think that tv news anchors around the state are going to ignore the dem primary because of delegates (and remember that the republicans lose half their delegates too - but WHO CARES? the primary process is so frontloaded to begin with that it doesn't matter one bit. it's all about momentum. (remember john kerry winning iowa - barely - and then cruising to the nomination even though John Edwards, who was a close second in iowa, won the third state - South Carolina? dont think anybody was counting delegates there...)

Ron Paul?
Ron Paul is right in about 3 issues, out of about 400.
Against Choice
Against public education
Against any government program, including social security
Against building and repairing our highways

I am a 57 year old retired Jewish business man in Florida.

Last week I changed my party affiliation from Democratic (my entire voting life) to republican, because it is important that I vote in the primaries here in Florida! Business as usual at the White House is not going to make my children more secure. I am so tired of change meaning a 10% veering to the left or right of a policy, law or tax code that isn't working.

Ron Paul brings change that should, with congressional assistance, really be change! By creating a new foreign policy, removing the IRS, changing the money system and going back to the core values that we started this country with, to name a few of his goals, we could continue being the country that we were all proud of.

At this point, we as a country have a broken military, a bankrupt treasury and a moral doctrine the has removed most of our rights while torturing others. Don't you think a real change is welcome!!
