I rememeber when Poland was trying desparately to fee itself from the Soviet Bloc in the '80s. Then-President Ronald Reagan even asked Americans to "burn a candle for Poland in a window that could be seen from the street". This request resulted in at least one house fire. But we were all behind the liberation movement in Poland. Now Poland has become somewhat of a Right Wing festering boil on the face of Eastern Europe. Go figure!!
