Quote du Jour

“Out upon merry Christmas! What’s Christmas time to you but a time for paying bills without money; a time for finding yourself a year older, but not an hour richer…? If I could work my will,” said Scrooge indignantly, “every idiot who goes about with ‘Merry Christmas’ upon his lips should be boiled with his own pudding, and buried with a stake of holly through his heart. He should!”

— Charles Dickens (1786-1851) author of A Christmas Carol

Seems “The War On Christmas” is not a new thing at all!
Now, where did I read that the modern “SANTA CLAUS” is a sales gimmick initiated by the Coca Cola folks to pedal their “stuff” which has now grown into the most hideous “sales promotion” the world has ever seen.
The “taking CHRIST” out of “CHRISTMAS” is an effect of CORPORATE AMERICA which turned the “BIRTH OF CHRIST” into the WORLD’S MOST GIGANTIC SALES EVENT, the very same gang of thieves who pay a bunch of “CRAZY TALKING HEADS” to sell you every thing from VIAGRA and politicians to condoms, churches, and SUVs.
Now explain just who the hell THE TRUE GRINCH REALLY IS!
