Sen. Hillary Clinton did not actually cry in New Hampshire yesterday but she did choke up when a woman in the crowd asked her how she was holding up.
This non-crying moment nonetheless led the news throughout most cycles yesterday. It was even the first item up on Keith Olbermann’s “Countdown,” and was the first bit of news mentioned on C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal” yesterday.
Funny though, where was the same attention to a story in September in which macho-man George Bush admitted that he cries all the time and apparently at the drop of a hat?
“I’ve got God’s shoulder to cry on. And I cry a lot,” Mr. Bush says in “Dead Certain: The Presidency of George W. Bush,” which was released to U.S. bookstores [Sept. 3, 2007]. “I do a lot of crying in this job. I’ll bet I’ve shed more tears than you can count, as president. I’ll shed some tomorrow.”
He also confessed to a friend that he once saw ghosts in the White House:
Perhaps the oddest revelation is an episode from 1992, when his father was president. The younger Mr. Bush found the White House a “creepy place,” [John] Draper writes. After exercising in a White House gym one evening, he told a friend he froze in his steps while approaching the Lincoln Bedroom. Mr. Bush insists “he saw ghosts – coming out of the wall,” according to the friend.

There are a lot of people crying in America today. Hillary did not cry, but for the first time in her life probably spoke the truth. Maybe I could vote for her.
I cried when I read that Huckabee called on God’s army to lead him to election. Maybe that is why Bush is crying. He thought God was his army. Besides those are false tears on his face and I highly suspect God after hearing his name taken in vain and used for political gain…has gone off to create a new galaxy far far away.
Where are the true Christians? Those who read the New Testament and Jesus’s words. Not to mention the Golden Rule. Where have all the Christians gone leaving behind the fake Christians who deal in fear and lies. Where are the decent folks of my parents generation? Where are the decent folks? here we sit with a lousy corporate owned press pointing at a crying woman and writing about men who use God.
Blessings and good luck, God, on your next galaxy. This one is totally consumed with fundamental Christian hate and fear. There is no truth upon this land, anymore. It is consumed with greed and political aspirations by people who could care less about America and the middle class. Blessings on the few good people left upon this good earth.

There has been, for many years, reports of Abraham Lincoln strolling the corridors of the White House, so this isn’t all that unusual.
However, in Junior’s case I’m more inclined to think that what he saw (if he actually saw anything) was more likely a fantasy related to whatever he’d been drinking or sniffing.
The man couldn’t be less credible if he tried.
