Poll: God Puts Huckabee in Lead in Florida – Also Leads in S.C., Home of Christian Exodus

After smiting Rev. Mike Huckabee in the New Hampshire primary yesterday by relegating him to third place behind an Episcopalian-turned-Baptist (John McCain) and a Mormon (Mitt Romney), now the divine inspiration of God, which Huckabee claimed in November was the invisible force behind his rise in the polls, has put him in the lead in Florida:

One possible factor in God’s preference for Huckabee: At least two of his opponents, McCain and Rudolph Giuliani, are admitted adulterers.

A new Datamar poll in Florida finds Mike Huckabee leading the Republican presidential primary race with 24 percent support, followed by Mitt Romney at 20 percent, Sen. John McCain at 18 percent and Rudy Giuliani now back in fourth place at 16 percent.

Two months ago, Giuliani led the GOP race. With little chance of winning the other early states, he has been campaigning nearly non-stop in Florida for several weeks.

One possible factor in God’s preference for Huckabee: At least two of his opponents, McCain and Rudolph Giuliani, are admitted adulterers. Adultery is a sin punishable by eternal death in a pit of fire, according to the Bible. Huckabee and his wife are married by “covenant,” part of which requires Mrs. Huckabee to “submit herself graciously to the servant leadership of her husband.”

In the Datamar poll, Hillary Clinton, whom God anointed in New Hampshire last night, has a 12 percentage point lead over Barack Obama:

The Democratic race is confused since the state was stripped of its delegates to the party convention for moving up the primary date and none of the major candidates is campaigning there. Nonetheless, Sen. Hillary Clinton leads the Democratic race with 40 percent, followed by Sen. Barack Obama at 28 percent and John Edwards at 19 percent.

In South Carolina, where Republicans vote on Jan. 19 (and Dems on Jan. 26), Huckabee has an aggregate 12.6 percentage point lead over McCain, according to Real Clear Politics. The three polls include: Insider Advantage which has Huckabee at 33 percent; McCain at 21 percent; Rasmussen, 28/21; and SurveyUSA, 36/17.

This is not surprising as God’s manifest destiny for South Carolina is a plan called Christian Exodus, which entails millions of Christian fundamentalists moving to the state, overturning its democracy and installing a theocracy and then seceding from the United States (again).

  3. If the Husckster wins the white house, and since he communicates with God, will we, the American sheeple, all have to become southern baptists?

I hope the voters wake up in time on this guy.

  4. Well, as we have always said in North Carolina…thank goodness we do not live in South Carolina. Truthfully we are also prone to add Mississippi to this comment.
Bless their hearts, these SC citizens are the voters who slammed McCain in the last presidential primary and believed the horrid things that the Bush people fed them. Remember back then God was Bush’s campaign manager. Hold up a cross in SC and they will follow. They are mostly fundamental Christians and we know that is a sign of closed minds. God bless them, they just can’t help it.

  5. “Hey, YOU. Yeah, YOU, dipshit. Just hold on one goddamn minute here.
This is GOD and i’m getting pretty pissed off by these idiots, who also happen to be runing for prez of some snot filled nation that is a royal pain in my heavenly ass, who keep invoking my name to win races.

Jesus H. Christ. It’s bad enough when football players ask for my help in making that TD, but when some slack-jowled, bumpkin political hack invokes my name for votes, it tends to make me PISSED. BIG TIME.

So unless you want a Sodom and Gommorah moment, keep my nsme OUT of your little piss-ant contests.

    OR ELSE!!!

  6. Right on. These Christians – NOT! support a Christian – NOT! and certainly have no personal acquaintance with God or the Bible. They bandy the words around like born-again’s who use God as the almighty J C Penney catalogue for everything they want. (Forget that asking His Will means anything to them.) WorldNetDaily’s “Hucks for Huck’ is certainly interesting as is Judicial Watch Review placing him at #6 most corrupt politician in government. I can hear those PTL shreiks now, how the enemy is attacking him because he loves the Lord. He IS the enemy, CFR, Bilderberg, shill with the new GOP logo of two inverted satanic stars. If put in office you can bet he’ll suddenly use the satanic horn signal to indicate his Illuminati connections. It does NOT mean “I Love You” in sign language. On a purely nasty note if it weren’t an insult to Jim Nabors I’d say the Huckster is his twin brother – the EVIL one. And if playing “Free Bird” is impressive it is so to the easily impressed.
Please remember Jesus used some sarcasm when confronting the conservative establishment. Be wary of what they say -Watch their patterns of behavior.
