I usually vote in the Rep primary, if you think Corker and Alexander are bad Republicans, you should have seen their primary opponents. In 2004, I voted for Clark in the presidential primary, and it was more a vote against crowning Kerry as the one true Dem, I thought Clark was compelling, attractive and un-tainted. Even my cynical self did not see the Swiftboaters coming for Kerry. I've been voting since 1980 and I can honestly say that my vote for Edwards on Feb 5 will be the first time I have ever voted for a person and a platform, and not voted for the lesser of two evils.In 2000 the primary didn't matter when I got to finally vote. MLK said, "the arc of history bends towards justice." John Edwards life and actions have bent towards social and financial justice for the last 4 years. Hillary has gone more right-wing and Obama has gone more towards DLCness. Edwards is the only one who speaks to me and for me. Yes, in Nov, I will vote for the D in the race, no matter who the R is. But let me now here apprise the Dem party that this is the last and final vote they are given because they are not Republicans.
