Why do we need preferential treatment when the country has overcome racial prejudice to elect a black President? I am hearing this more and more from whites like my church leaders. Everything should be based on merits not on race. Let the blacks and Asians and whites and Latinos all compete equally without quotas in education( college admission, sports, career opportunities).
