Cheney on Two-Thirds of Americans’ Opposition to Iraq Occupation: ‘So?”
From an interview yesterday with Dick Cheney by Martha Raddatz of ABC News:
Q: Two-thirds of Americans say it’s not worth fighting, and they’re looking at the value gain versus the cost in American lives, certainly, and Iraqi lives.
CHENEY (with smirk): So?
Q: So… You don’t care what the American people think?
CHENEY: No, I think you can’t be blown off course by the fluctuations in the public opinion polls.

Yup, saw the video. On another blog, some guy was wishing for a vet sniper with PTSD to put a cap in Cheney’s head, but I argued the point that (that) would be too quick and easy for the old fart. I proposed that Cheney would suffer plenty once some quack doctor put him on life support for that bad ticker. It’s just a pity we all can’t see it televised… Hey, come to think of it, maybe that would be a good punishment for the old face-shooter!
