Hillary Clinton is an idiot.
She recently said that as president, if Iran made a nuclear move against Israel, she would “totally obliterate” it.
Iran’s not happy.
Iran’s deputy ambassador to the United Nations sent a letter to U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the president of the Security Council expressing Iran’s condemnation of “such a provocative, unwarranted and irresponsible statement.”
Clinton made the remarks last week while campaigning for the Democratic presidential nomination.
I’m so tired.
Haven’t we just come through enough of this ridiculous posturing and reckless talk by people who have never been to war to know when to stuff a sock in it?
Can you imagine what the Clinton camp would do if Obama made an irresponsible, ill-advised, bush league (literally) comment that caused a diplomatic incident in which our entire country was formally protested on the world stage?
How can anyone think this woman would make a good president?

This has nothing to do with Obama, who has made his own asinine, racist and reckless comments about foreign policy.
But it IS smart move by Iran, showing the US how nations that aren’t lawless operate.
How in your heart of hearts can you do this to the Democrotic Party? What will you do if Hillary is the nominee? If you write in favor of her all of your previous essays could be thrown back in your face or your writing could be used by the Republican Party against Hillary and they already have the Swiftboaters. In my opinion, you are acting like Fox News and how they support Bush. Have you not thought about this…as a Democrat you will be a lame duck. Do you plan to support McCain?
Clinton said she would “obliterate” Iran if — and this is a big if — Iran nuked Israel. Massive retaliation against anyone who nuked Israel has been the policy of the U.S. and Great Britain since Russia developed the A-bomb.
If Iran nukes Tel Aviv during Pres. Obama’s time in office, you can bet he’ll nuke Tehran — unless Israel nukes it first — in return. It would be way past time for talking at that point.
Such talk makes me sick.
All Hillary needed to say was something along the lines of,
“Rest assured, if Iran attacks Israel, appropriate countermeasures WILL be taken.”
But NOOOOOOO, she had to sound “tough.” She ended up sounding like a republican right-wing chickenhawk, which I believe is the way she WANTED to come across, which is why I am for Obama.
Grab a Puffs, Charles. First of all, HRC doesn’t seem to have these same qualms about Obama — she’s tried to rip him to shreds and shown no concern about the consequences if he is the nominee. Second, of course I wouldn’t support McCain. He does too much irresponsible saber-rattling about Iran. Oh yeah, he’s got some company there.

You understand why Clinton said that about Iran. You are being disingenuous at best.
This and your other anti-Clinton posts are totally FoxNews-like in their lack of substance and concentration on sensationalizing your perceived polarizing differences between good, ie your candidate, and evil, ie the other DEMOCRAT running for President.
Why can’t you practice what Obama preaches and do some unifying? If Obama gets the nomination is Hillary Clinton STILL an idiot, say when she is in the Senate and still a Democrat working for people like you and me?
Why such bitter anti-Clintonian hoo-ha? What ARE you clinging to? Rise up and write something to convince Clinton supporters yet to vote in NC and Indiana and elsewhere, why we should vote for Obama after all. THAT would be a productive post to read.
I live in NC and have talked to SEVERAL Demos in the past few days who are still undecided. HELLO. Campaign for your man, not against his opponent.
I think Clinton would make a good president. Why should I think Obama would make a good president? Let alone get elected in the first place? Why should I listen to what you have to say about it ever again? You’re obviously VERY angry, and therefore perhaps clouded in your judgement???
In spite of all of this, I am still supporting Hillary. Why? Because I truly believe that she has the best chance to beat McCain in the presidential election. The primary results so far give little indication of how that election will play out. I think massive numbers of white voters, especially older ones will not be able to bring themselves to pull Obama’s lever. And when they can’t bring themselves to pull it, they’ll pull McCain’s instead. Rascist? Yes, but that is the world we live in and I would rather have Hillary in the White House than McBush, I mean McCain.
