There are many powerful men, including David Vitter who would have loved to see Palfrey dead. It certainly is suspicious. Like Jack Ruby, a reputed mafioso, taking it upon himself to shoot Lee Harvey Oswald, the suspect in the assasination of JFK, in the gut, killing him on national television. Why indeed was it so important for Oswald to disappear? What would he have revealed if he had been allowed to live and talk? Palfrey is reported to have been not in a suicidal way prior to this (although many who commit suicide show no warning signs in advance) and it needs to be investigated.
