Simply put, Clinton has run a contemptable campaign, while Barack has endured with class the double barrages coming from both Clinton and the Repubs. I cannot tell you how many Clinton women have haughtily declared that they simply will not vote for Barack. My (not particularly healing) response is that their devotion to the core values is not what I thought it was, since it is so easily overwhelmed by a manufactured snit over imagined misogny. Misogyny is a real problem, too real to be trivialized by gutter politicians like Hillary Clinton. Rest assured, however, that if somehow she wound up as the nominee, I would not immediately jettison my issues of social and criminal justice, unjust wars, and ecomomic fairness just to avenge some personal insult.
