Thanks to Mandy, who left a comment on one of our posts mentioning Hillaryis44.
The reference is to Clinton becoming the 44th president. As you know, H.W. was 41, Bill was 42, W is 43, and according to these folks, Hillary already is 44. Wishful thinking, but I would expect no less from a site dripping in pink, and showing a photo of the candidate taken, most likely, the only time she will have ever been 44.
The worst feature of the site, beyond its relentless tearing down of Barack Obama (it features a page entitled, “Why Not Obama?” that is, ironically, blank) is the audio. A very tired sounding Hillary drones on and on about why she should be president while you’re trying to read. If there’s a way to make her stop, I couldn’t find it.
The point of the site seems to be that these particular Clinton supporters are taking no prisoners. If their girl doesn’t get in, that’s it, game over. They do not now, and will not ever, support any alternate Democratic candidates. Way to make a positive change, fanatics!
Check it out, but my advice is put in some ear protection first.
Update: Alert reader RONDOXBAR sent us this link to some research posted at Daily Kos about Hillaryis44. It appears as if it’s a very small number of users who posted a very lot of the stuff. Also, as I noticed in my short visit (see note above about tired Hillary squawking in the background) but didn’t mention, some pages appeared to be hacked. Some of the comments at DK attest to this.

Takes some stones to complain about a site tearing down a political candidate. Especially when you have been “all in” opposing Clinton for some time now.

Thanks for the comment, Bobbski, and for reading. I will gladly go on record to say that if HRC gets the nomination, I will vote for her in November. The folks at Hillaryis44 won’t say that about Obama.
I really cannot express how exhaused I am by the Clintons. I just read on AOL that Bill is saying that actually Hillary is winning and that’s theres been a “cover-up.”
I’ve been a yellow-dog Democrat ever since I voted for Nixon and got screwed over by that vote. But, honest to God, I really don’t want to vote for her. And she was originally my second choice after Edwards.
I am just sick about this and I just can’t understand what they think they are doing.
well . . . she IS 44, in the picture. As of June 26, 08, this crazy site’s “why Hillary” link is “under construction; coming soon.” it also has polling data from January to april, showing how well Hill is doing. these guys are like the japanese soldiers on little islands in the pacific in the late 1940s who did not know the war was over.
