If the Iraqi adventure ended tomorrow do you seriously believe that we would have no military presence there say 12 months after? Was the Iraq invasion ill conceived and executed? Yes but as easy as it was to get into the mess, it will be twice as difficult to extradite ourselves from it. Just the way things are and I speak as one who stood with many others on a street corner in Tulsa, OK protesting the coming war even before The Precious gave his speech. And I was protesting it as a veteran as well. So Obama will end the war, ala Ike in Korea?

He was saying why it was a, I believe the word was, "dumb" idea. McCain is proposing the 100-year presence now, even knowing what we know.
