The repainted plane is likely to become a familiar backdrop for the remainder of the campaign. Previously, the campaign plane did not have a distinctive paint scheme.
The front cabin, where Obama travels, has been fitted out with luxury recliner seating. Obama 08 is embroidered on one seat, presumably to be normally occupied by the candidate.
The press cabin is still the normal 3-seats-to-a-row economy class seating.
Oh boo-hoo, you members of the press assigned to the Obama campaign. I suppose you’d rather be with John McCain, eating barbecue, attending meaningless closed “town hall” pep rallies, and taking weekends off. Wait, don’t answer that.
Predictably, Obama is already getting flack over the paint job, which uses his logo and no American flag. It’s like not wearing a lapel pin, critics say.
Except that if he did paint an American flag on his plane, these same idiots would accuse him of undermining the Current Occupant, something he’s quite rightly refused to do in meeting with foreign leaders.
“I think it is very important to recognize that I’m going over there as a U.S. senator. We have one president at a time…” Obama said.
No doubt Obama will remind us of that when he’s in the Oval Office.
Ok I never respond to things on the net but this 1 I have to. This goes to show you he isn’t a patriot. Our founding fathers of this great nation would put a stop to it if they were here. This should really be a wake up call to this country. We are heading to a dark time in our nations history, and it is scary to see what will happen next. A man running for president who is making his own rules as he goes along, who doesn’t show he is a true American. If you really read the news it is showing that bad is being rewarded and good being punished. Where our freedom of speach is being stripped of us and the evil being promoted. Don’t you think it is wrong to allow talk shows to talk about sex but they can’t mention the very name of Jesus Christ? If He isn’t real why are people making such a big fuss about mentioning His name? Think about it. You walk into a conversation and even mention Jesus and right away they put up thier guard. But they can talk about an afair 1 had, or even how wasted they got on drugs and laugh about it. But Mention Jesus and they practically want you arrested. In the Mid-West a young man was sharing what the Bible says and 1 couple of same sex were offended. The young man was forced to take sensitivity training by a proffessed promoter of same sex marriage. As part of of his punishment he can no longer witness to anyone or risk being thrown in jail. What happened to freedom of speach? The Bible tells us these things will take place in the last days. This is a wake up call America. God took away the blessings from Isreal when they turned thier backs to Him. Now we are facing the same thing. Cause of our learders choices to take God out of everything we are vulnerable to attack more than ever. Russia has already threatened us, China has put us in check as well. And with God out of the picture who do we have to save us from such threats? Something to truely ponder. This was by no means an attack on anyones beliefs. But it is written things things will take place in the last days. Be looking towards the heavens for Christ to come again. Ok I will get off my soap box now.

I must admit that the fate of our nation is a fearful prospect to me when my children are afraid to pray at school or say they love Jesus. After 9/11 everyone in Washington DC wanted the prayers to go up. But I wonder how long will God listen to a nation who more and more goes against HIs direction and word. I have always felt it is not religion we need just a real relationship. The bible is not a salad bar to pick and choose what sounds good and doesn’t. God gave guidance to lleaders who saught His guidance over 200 years ago. Now we dont want Him at all…just a watered down feel good vs. God is a gentleman and will not invite himself. to the land. The question is do our leaders today really care to invite His guidance?
Very well put. Our country has no one to blame but those who have turned thier backs to God. All the things going wrong could be easily stopped but, They chose to listen to thier own ways.
We could also blame people who believe in a Santa Claus god who is all powerful and all-knowing and yet who has nothing better to do than keep track of which human beings are naughty and which ones are nice.
If Jesus were to come back today, what are the chances he’d cut his hair, shave his beard and don a polyester Sunday-go-to-meeting suit so he’d fit in at the local megachurch? I’d say they’re about the same as the odds he’d fly off in Pat Robertson’s private jet to tour Pat’s diamond mines in Africa where children work as slave laborers.
He would undoubtedly be angry at the hatemongering that is done is his name by folks who say they are his followers.
Wow!!! For the record christianity is not a religion. And to add to that God gave us direction through his Word the Bible. Now you want to poke fun at my spelling go for it. It goes to show your level of intelligence. If I was in a spelling bee then I would be more correct, but that has nothing to do with the fact that the bible tells us what is to come. You can go around belive what you want, I am not here to cast judgement on you or anyone else. But this should be a wake up call to what is really happening in the BIG PICTURE. Not on some forum where people such as yourself can post things that are a bit ridicoulus as you did. Now there is passages in the bible that point out there would be false teachers in the last days. Does that mean the others are wrong? I mean be serious, you think we were put here to hurt one another cause calamity and thats it? Then we die and nothing more? Christ died to free us from sin plane and simple. You know for a fact when you die where you are going? You think you get to heaven on your own accord? Or that you believe your a good person? Hitler believed he was doing what was right, he actually thought he was good person. Does he get to heaven cause in his own mind he was good? Do you? Now you can poke fun all you want try and make us look stupid. It doesn’t bother me at all. What does is the fact that people such as yourself is that foolish to believe there is no hell and there is no heaven. One day we all will die when our time comes. At least I have a peace that I know where I am going. It is something that all should really think about. Now Christianity was never a hateful FAITH. There is no jumping through hoops to or performing rituals to be saved. It is as simple as asking Jesus to forgive you of your sins and ask Him to be Lord of your life. the hateful is the people who make their own gods or their own beliefs. Blame who you wish but you must look in the mirror. I am no angle far from it. But Jesus has saved me by His death on the cross.
Of course Christianity is religion. That’s just silly. It’s one of the best known religions in the world, along with Islam, Buddhism and Scientology. False teachers, indeed.
