Now, all the cable news channels make mistakes, and I’ve never seen any of them do corrections. CNN has had some PRETTY stupid mistakes over the years, like thinking Afghanistan was Syria on a map, if I remember right. I expect that from the average viewer, but not from a so-called journalistic outfit that should know better and get the facts straight. In this case, I am sure CNN wasn’t trying to mislead, they were just being dumb.

But on FOX’s part, it’s sole purpose is to mislead, so it would seem. How this channel can call itself “news” when it’s more tabloid is beyond me.
