Even so, his answers were a set stump speech at best, and it did not appear that he could make himself seem self reflective or spiritual even if he wanted too. He shot out answers that were pompous and filled with self adulation of his POW status (which he so unhumbly kept reminding us of). He just appeared to me to be another GW Bush filled with 'fire and fury signifying nothing" and we could just look forward to another four years of "my way or the high way" politics and if we want to solve it "hit it over the head with a sledge hammer", a stalled up congress that cannot get anything done because of his stubborn vetos, and our soldiers will be doomed to be at the center of world strife everywhere.
