Bristol Palin is Preggers. Is This the First or Second Time?

Bristol with her parents and youngest sister, Piper, in 2007

The 17-year-old daughter of vice presidential nominee Gov. Sarah Palin is pregnant. The big question is, is this her first or second child?

I’m sure you’ve seen the doubts raised that the elder Palins’ now 4-month-old fifth child is actually theirs. I’ll let you do your own search if not, but to sum up, Sarah Palin’s closest aides said they had no idea she was pregnant when she finally announced it at seven months.

She gave birth a few weeks after under strange circumstances which included flying to Texas, where she claimed her water broke, then giving a speech to a Republican governors’ conference. Afterward, she boarded a seven-hour commercial flight back to Alaska and gave birth to her Down Syndrome baby (or grandchild, depending) in a private hospital under her longtime doctor’s care. Meanwhile, Bristol was removed from school for five months to recover from mono.

Buzzflash had a particularly good forum on all this over the weekend, where they asked people to accept that Sarah Palin really was the child’s mother, and then debate whether she was out of her mind. Most people had a hard time with the basic premise, viewing the situation as a cover-up for the then 16-year-old Bristol’s pregnancy instead.

Now news breaks that Bristol is pregnant.

Gov. Palin is a strong proponent of teaching abstinence-only sex education to teenagers.

“We have been blessed with five wonderful children who we love with all our heart and mean everything to us,” reads the statement from Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and her husband Todd.

“Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned,” they continued, referring to their 17-year-old daughter. “As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and support.”

The Palins said that “Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realize very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family. We ask the media, respect our daughter and Levi’s privacy as has always been the tradition of children of candidates.”

There is no way the McCain campaign actually vetted this nutcase before selecting her as his running mate.

A McCain campaign official tells ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos that McCain knew of Bristol’s pregnancy and “didn’t believe Governor Palin should be disqualified” from the vice presidency because of it. “If Democrats try to attack, it will backfire spectacularly,” the official said.

Gov. Palin is a strong proponent of teaching abstinence-only sex education to teenagers.

McCain campaign officials said the information was released to combat unsubstantiated rumors that Gov. Palin’s fifth child, Trig, born in April, was actually Bristol’s child.

The kicker is that the Palins and McCain are claiming that it’s all none of our business.

“We ask that the media respect their daughter in the same tradition that has been afforded children of past candidates,” McCain spokeswoman Jill Hazelbaker said.

Well gosh, Jill, we’d love to do that but I can’t remember a time when another candidate’s 17-year-old kid was knocked up. Give us some slack as we try to negotiate this new territory of the family values party’s making.

    Here is my prediction:

The news about Sarah really being Trig’s grandmother got too hot, so they cooked up the story that Bristol was 5 months pregnant, and so not possibly Trig’s mother. I predict that the next announcement we hear about Bristol is that she had a miscarriage, due to the stress from the evil reporters & bloggers. If Sarah was really Trig’s mother, why didn’t she just release some medical records? (There is a possibility that Bristol is really a bad girl and this is her Second baby!) Isn’t abstinence “education” great?

john mccain should with draw from the nomination over this.
What a bad choice, what other bad choices is this crazy old man going to make if he is president?
if sarah palin wins the Vp, how many other of her children will get knocked up? is willow next??

I mean, GOp needs to stop mccain and nominate huckabee or romney before it is too late.

my dad was in the military stationed in alaska for 2 years, he told me all there is to do there is: drink, sex, and sex.
think about it a SMALL town nothing to do, need to keep warm.
‘and why was bristol palin kept in the van with trig in PA yesterday-was bristol breastfeeding trig?
i could have sworn during a speech that out of habit-bristol almost breast fed him in pblic.
bristol palin is the mother of trig.
who is trig’s father? is levi trig’s father? or does trig have a different father than the preggo baby? if different fathers, how is that famaily values?
sarah palin’s family is out of control!!!!!!!! that woman is a nut case with a daughter who knows how to spread her legs for sure.

This is all so strange. Suddenly they announce that she is pregnant. No record on the Birth page from that hospital, although it has pictures and stories from the two other babies that were born that day in that hospital. I want to see some photos of Sarah in the hospital, right before birth, I have four children and I have photos of each birth. I want to see photos, and birth records, like how delivered, what the APGAR score was at birth. The daughter out of school for 5-6 months, something is not right about all of this: Wake up America.

Sor-ry: by and large every detail of Sarah Palin’s life is every American citizen’s business now because we would be paying her salary. The Bristol baby story is just too pat, and I for one do not tend not to believe a word of it. Don’t forget that Brittany Spears had two babies in one year. At any rate, what the hell is going on in that family? Inquiring minds want to know!

If this were Obama it would be allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll over the news, instead it’s being swept under the rug as an unimportant issue. However, this is very important. She can’t run her own house, how the hell can we be ok with knowing she may run the entire country. That doesn’t make me feel safe. So much is said about Barack’s lack of experience but not so much about Sarah. She has less experience than Barack and is covering up her daughters pregnancy. I don’t believe for one second McShame knew about about this pregnancy and if he did that’s another example of his poor decision making skills. Sarah’s story about her water breaking and flying seven hours just doesn’t sit right with me. Why risk the babys’ health? Anything could have gone wrong while they were on the plane. Come on people, don’t believe everything you hear. Pay attention to what’s going on around you

If she was 16 and had intercourse with an individual over the age of 16, isn’t that statutory rape?

No way an ob/gyn lets her travel – so who is mom and who is dad. Whoever mom is she got pregnant in August, 2007. Interesting aside – September, 2007 – the oldest son joins army and leaves for bootcamp for reasons the family didnt want to discuss. When the son found out about the nominatiojn – first response “does this mean I have to crawl in a hole” What could he be afraid of?

You all are right on…just look at pix of Sarah when she was really pg with one of the other kids….she was big as a house! (I’ll see if i can find the link again) When your closest aides do mot believe you’re pregnant. some on!
The conditions under which Trig was born…first, it was said her water broke while in Dallas/FtWorth…but she hung around to deliver her SPEECH of 30 min. THEN boards a plane to AK…stopping first in Seattle…and none of the flight crew or passengers had any idea she was even pregnant..much less in early stages of labor with her 5th kid!! As a mother of 3 I can tell you, when you are that pg it is hard to sit for 8-9 hours, esp at high altitudes…but after her water broke? No way! Late stage pregnant women usually have to present a note from their medical official before they are allowed to fly. Sarah had no such note, hell, she didnt even look pregnant.

The Bush administration has the american public so brainwashed they don’t even question odd situations…we just listen and BELIEVE everything we hear.
    Scary,
this is how the Holocaust happened!!

if todd palin is the father of trig then why didn’t he hold him at the convention, seems like a homerun of a photo op was missed. holding a baby is hard after 5-10 minutes, no other palin sib could hold trig and give bristol a break. trig seems most happy when held by his mother. why no todd palin/trig photo op if such emphasis on family values(did not abort)? no photo op so mccain can deny his knowledge of this cover up. Had enogh of V.P. lies, turns out palin “knows what V.P.’s do.

if sarah palin is trig’s mom how did she go back to work after only 3 days. ladies help me out here, but when my wife gave birth to our 6lb son she could barely move enough off the bed to go to the bathroom. too many things don’t fit in this story, saw video of sarah palin hiking to capitol in AK wearing high heels while drinking coffee. isn’t caffeine of limits while pregnant. hopefully those like Olbermann, Maddow et all will give this the coverage it deserves.

Steve, I have also noticed that Bristol is the only one to hold Trig. Trig…isn’t that a subject kids in high school take? You know, kids like Bristol? But where was I? Oh yeah. I agree that neither “Mom” nor “Dad” seems very interested in physical contact with the 4-month-old. Odd.

My prediction is Todd Palin is Trig’s dad.. you ready… Bristol Palin is Trig’s Mom! Thats why there is such a need for a cover up! She doesn’t believe in abortion in the case of rape or incest! Poor Bristol is at home playing mom and wife, while she is out there saving Alaska. That would explain the downsyndrome, why nobody could tell sarah was pregnant and wont produce any pictures, etc. and why none of the stuff adds up. The doctor that supposedly delivered Trig specializes in rape and abuse cases, but the baby was delivered at the hospital they might have went there waaay after but no delivery der!

Wrong buddy Bristol is the mom alright and Todd palin is the dad! It makes more since for the need of such a cover up! You know the Palins dont believe in abortion in the case of rape or incest! Sarah is Country First not Family first! Actualy she is Family/Career first!!! Protect the Husband from Jail Time Protect her daughter from embarrasment, and most importantly protect herself, her career, and cover the fact that Bristol has been acting as mom, and wife, while Sarah has been putting Career First!

Nice guess, but wrong! Bristol is the mother, Track is the father. Interesting how as soon as Bristol is pregnant, Track is shipped away….and his “do I have to crawl in a hole?” comment once he found out about Sarah’s nomination. Here’s the plan: Bristol’s pregnant. Bristol is pulled from school due to “mono” (really, she’s starting to show), Sarah suddenly has to announce she’s pregnant right before Bristol is to deliver. Sarah “gives birth to Bristol’s son.”Bristol is really the one who gave birth, she’s chubby still, and Sarah’s not. Now, Sarah announces that Bristol is pregnant. In awhile, we’ll hear about bristol’s miscarriage. Bristol is always holding Trig #1: He’s her child, #2: When Bristol has a miscarriage, there’ll be no pictures of her belly.

    Questions to consider:
Why doesn’t Todd ever hold Trig?
Why doesn’t Sarah hold Trig when they’re all waving after the speeches?
Why is Bristol always holding Trig with a huge blanket that covers up her belly?
What mother wouldn’t scream on the mountaintops that she’s pregnant? Didn’t the Palins say they love kids and Todd said “the more the merrier…we love kids”? Odd that a mother in Sarah’s position (ie married, already has 4 children, has a husband…) would not race to tell everyone about her having another baby!

Some people might be stupid and not know how to USE their brains, but come on people. This is sooooo obvious!

Trig and now Tripp. Is this a joke? Doesn’t that just trip your trigger? Ok, now factor in her brother is named Track? 5 months for mono? A relative of mine had mono and drama-ed it out to three months;very rare. So, here we have the typical overly tightly strung power seeking family, with a rebelious child. How far did this kid go? How far will she continue to go to get back at Mom and Dad? Messed up, these are the kind of people that you move out of a good neighborhood to get away from.

No way was Sarah Palin pregnant. I also saw the video of her walking on the icy streets of Juno in high heeled boots when she would have been six months preg. No mother would do that. Also she said that she had an amnio that showed she was having a baby with Downs…why would you risk your baby’s health and life by going ahead with your day as usual after your water broke. Infection can set in after the protective sac of fluid has broke. Need to get to hospital as soon as possible. A baby with Downs can be born with many health problems. I think if this was her pregnancy she was extremely careless with the life of the child.

Bailout 2008, a poem by David Jeffrey:

    Like a bloodied warrior,
    laying broken and torn.

Like a dying soldier, hopeless and forlorn.

But the blood, it be green,
    the color of money.

And the soldier is an economy,
and it is anything but funny.

Broken are it’s people and shattered are their dreams.

Thanks to the ultra rich and their full proof schemes.

It is a tragedy with more pain to come.

Finance will be Hell, and their wills will be done.

Months too late, but there are indeed two boys. One is Sarah’s and the other is Bristol’s. For some reason, the Palin women are able to hamper their pregnancies pretty well — if you look at the photos of Sarah right before she popped, she looks like a perfectly normal American woman, if not even thinner. As a matter of fact, it was announced that she indeed did not announce the pregnancy of her fifth (and currently youngest), Trig, until she was seven months along.

Less than a month later, Bristol finds out SHE is pregnant. I’m surprised no one is pointing out what I find too obvious: the two boys are born eight whole months apart. Trig — albeit a Down Syndrome victim — is the uncle, and Tripp is his nephew?

Also, Bristol is older than people make her out to be. She was already well into the age of seventeen when she and Levi conceived their baby boy, Tripp. Her birthday is October 1990 (look it up). She will be nineteen in just two months time.
