Arcade Fire, Obama, and Heroes

O.K., this is kind of political. It’s an Obama rally in frickin’ Carrboro, N.C. And it’s a great rendition of one of my favorite Bowie songs, done quite respectably by Arcade Fire. How much better does it have to get?

  1. But the members of Arcade Fire are Canadians. Couldn’t the Obama campaign have hired an American band made up of people who can actually vote in a U.S. election?
