you can’t sit around and call someone stupid for doing what they believe in at least they are trying to help the country if you don’t like someone’s idea why don’t you make your own and try to help but instead you’ll just sit around and critize people trying to help. I for one support Bachmann its the only change we are going to get right now we need to express our power.

Calling Bachmann stupid is easy. What is scary is that there are so many right-wing, red-neck, Republican reactionaries out there, that have guns and guts but no brains, religion and conviction but no moral guidance, and fervor without reason. Many of these are easily pushed past the tipping point, and can be persuaded to take drastic measures if they feel their brand of violent “activism” would be approved of. Bachmann is now providing that approval.

The electoral process is the sole means of legal change in this democratic republic. Being occasionally relegated to minority status is simply part of this ongoing exercise. I suggest, therefore, that Bachman’s nonsense be called to account by every citizen who truly believes in democracy – regardless of political affiliation.

Let us reason together. It would be refreshing to hear from other Minnesotans in equal measure, perhaps best starting with Senator Franken…

The republicans inherited a “surplus”. THEY turned that into a huge debt. Why can’t anyone simply bring that up everytime one of these dumbos says that it is the Democrats who are causing the debts that we now have???

Bachman is a nutcase with a fanatical gleam in her eye, and she is using Thomas Jefferson as a fig leaf for saying the same things that Limbaugh, etc. are saying — that they want to overthrow the current government. It’s funny that under all the years of Bush, even for the six years that Republicans like Tom DeLay stiffled every progressive initiative, even then elected leaders and leading voices on our side said never came close to calling for people to become “armed and dangerous.”
