The latest installment of “As Wasilla Turns” will open on Monday, when Tyra Banks’ interview with Levi Johnston, the estranged babydaddy of Sarah Palin’s daughter, Bristol, airs on Tyra’s syndicated talk show.

The bombshell from the show is that Levi claims that Palin, who preaches that abstinence is the only acceptable form of birth control for teenagers, knew that he and Bristol, then 16 years old, were sleeping in the same bed before she got pregnant:
The 18-year-old recently sat down with the talk-show host to discuss his relationship with Palin, who gave birth to their child last December, and claimed that the duo practiced safe sex while together. Their child, he said, must have come from a “wardrobe malfunction.” (Enter collective eye roll.)
No dummy, Banks pressed him further and got Mr. Johnston, who has since broken up with his longtime love, to admit that he and Bristol “sometimes” didn’t practice safe sex. He also admitted that Bristol’s mother, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, probably knew the teens were sexually active, because they slept in the same bed and, besides, “Moms are pretty smart.” Indeed.
There is reason to quibble over the word “smart” in this context.
Levi’s mother Sherry and his sister Mercede also appear on the show:
Levi’s family also revealed to Tyra that they were under a gag order during the whole campaign.
His mom Sherry said: “When you talk to media you say something and they have a twist to make it sound like something totally different.”
Mercede adds: “We were supposed to say that all questions need be brought up to the McCain campaign. Other than that we had to say no comment.”
No word on whether Tyra will ask Sherry Johnston about her arrest in December on charges that she illegally distributed Oxycontin, Rush Limbaugh’s narcotic of choice.

Just how does that work?
Was it a legally binding gag order during an election for political gain? Or just complying with McCain’s wish?
For my part, I wasn’t under any orders, but I was gagging throughout the campaign….
Well, they sowed, now they’re reaping. Levi will be paying child support of what, $1000.00 per month for 18 years? That’s a LOT of bud, Levi. And Bristol just waved goodbye to her carefree youth and early adulthood. Have fun kids! Er, I mean “adults.”

WOW. Scandalous is all I can say! I just can’t see how someone of that limited character and knowledge can honestly think she is lady enough and more importantly, smart enough to be a VP or worse yet, run a country as our president. Imagine this..what do you HONESTLY think mcain and palin would have accomplished by now–heaven forbid had they won? Compare that to what our highly regarded-intelligent-compassionate-articulate-genuine-family man-considerate-inclusive-diplomatic-gentleman-humble-noble-President Barrack Hussein Obama has accomplished? Who, I might add IS TRYING to do everything he can to make things as close to right as possible for ALL OF US AND THIS COUNTRY–not just a certain class or color or religious group of folks..but ALL OF US!!! It just doesn’t get any better than that. That is what a leader is supposed to do. DO FOR ALL OF HIS PEOPLE AND COUNTRY. But the hate filled racist obstructionists HABITUAL LYING Repubs stop his every move to help THE PEOPLE. I thank God everyday I wake up and see Obama as our President. There truly is a God. Because he answered ALL OF OUR PRAYERS.
One has to be careful because we do reap what you sew. I assure you Bush Cheney and Rumsfeld will be held for war crimes and they will in the end pay for the destruction they caused not just to this country but to Iraq ..and all the lives their LIES caused to perish without a flinch of an eye. And Cheney is wrong..YOU DID NOT MAKE US SAFER–The scariest part is, had that woman and mccain won they would have continued the lunacy! And so I thank God every day. I don’t know what kind of Christians repubs are..but I can’t imagine they are the kind of people God is very proud of. You use his name to do your hateful deeds. Which I find incredible. All that hate has made you all ignorant. Look at you. You can’t even make one single solitary intelligent suggestion for any of the crises we are in now. But you are loaded with words of hate division partisanship and nothing but negative. Thanks but no thanks. You will end up being the party of NO RETURN.
