The problem with our responding to such is that not only does this give their wacko rants additional life, but it distracts us from our main task, namely, change we can believe in. If we don't respond to their attacks, what should we do? Treat them like the naughty brats that they are, that's what, & either punish them or ignore them. Punishment, of course, is out of the question, which leaves ignoring them as our only option. Actually that'll be a punishment equivalent, in that they'll be denied some of the media attention which they so intensly crave. Meanwhile we'll be able to more fully direct our energies towards bringing about change.
