The title of the video, “Franken Talks Down Angry Mob,” might be a bit of an exaggeration, since, as someone on facebook said, it’s more of a “cranky crowd.” But Al does show that if you just hang in and refuse to get off-message (and maybe bore your listeners a bit), you can prevail. At least you can in Minnesota. In Florida, where the Republicans have all lost their minds, maybe not so much.
