If Tancredo wishes to impose a civics test, let him!! But also deny the government the right to take taxes from those who fail it. After all, if they are not allowed to vote and decide on the governing style of the country I don't understand how the government could force them to pay taxes when their right to vote as legal citizens is so blatantly stolen from them. And no cheat sheets and palm notes allowed!!! Let's see Tancredo, Palin and any of the rest of the Teabag illiterates support this proposal!

The tone and less than respectful, even hurtful, diatribes of the rag-tag Teabaggers are too much like the early rag-tag National Socialist Party inthe 1930's Germany. Both promote(d) their own merits by simply "exposing" the faults of others. Both propose(d) the solution of their country's problems by marginalizing those others with ever increasing severity.

It took a lot of disparaging speeches before it came to death camps in Europe, but it began with only words, disparaging words, then hate.

How about a civics’ and economics test for anyone running for congress. Maybe then they might have a clue about: 1. The relationship between caring for the "unwashed" and social & civil tranquility.
2. Which types of govt. spending create the most jobs and/or social benefits.
3. An appreciation for how our current laws came to be and what wrongs they were/are intended to cure.
I’m day dreaming again aren’t I? Sorry.

Since we can guess the average level of teabagger literacy from their protest signs, we know that most of them would be able to print their names, and not much else. But Tancredo would never ask THEM to actually take a test, and they all know it.

The Klanservatives have a lot of nostalgia for the days when you could just string up one of those uppity subhumans. Times have changed, of course, and they're plenty angry about it. Demagogic scum like Tancredo know just what it is they're angry about, and he plays on it.
