Nebraska Nuclear Plant Endangered by Flooding

Number of feet above sea level the Fort Calhoun, Neb. nuclear plant was built to withstand from floods in the Missouri River. The river is currently at 1,006.3 feet but is not expected to exceed 1,008. Should it do so, emergency managers plan to fight the flood with sandbags.
