Bachmann Pushes Corn Dog Envelope

BachmannCorndog

So I took a fair amount of heat for suggesting that Michele Bachmann might not want to wear a plunging neckline that exposes lots of her chestal area while working crowds. You know, all that leaning forward to shake hands, pinch baby cheeks, and squeeze the shoulders of wheelchair users and what-not.

But we are now entering unimagined territory. A FOOT-LONG CORN DOG? Really, Michele Bachmann? And we are supposed to gaze at this action shot and simply say, “Huh. Looks like a good corn dog. That’s all I see.”

O.K., I’ll try to only see a corn dog and not see a person with a serious lack of imagination about how a foot-long corn dog being inserted into a woman’s open mouth while she reaches to grasp it with two hands might look. I will also try not to see a person who should never, ever, ever be president.

Sometimes a corn dog is just a corn dog – but that chap in the lower left-hand corner of the photo seems to be watching the goings-on with a great deal of interest!

This is one for the ages! You may be in line for a Pulitzer! It’s flashing around the globe — I saw this on The Guardian in the UK! I think this is going to be the picture she’s remembered for, and should be the official campaign poster shot! BRILLIANT!

What’s the difference between a corn dog and Michelle Bachmann? The corn dog isn’t deep fried.

Michelle Bachmann is not only bone-headed, she’s also clueless. It just shows how unhinged our political system has become when someone of unfathomable shallowness, as Michelle Bachmann, could be elevated to, and accepted as a bonafide candidate for the position of leader of the free world.

  • August 15, 2011 - 2:42 am | Permalink

It’s bad enough that Bachmann is herself clueless as Emilio suggests, but it’s worse that nearly 29% of the 17,000 Iowans who voted in the Straw Poll supported her. Add that the clueless corporate media chose to cover this as if this “victory” was something really important and meaningful to the majority of American citizens, and one has to wonder where America’s intelligence went.

The photo would have been more interesting if the bottom would have been cropped to eliminate the wrapper.

She might not have what it takes to be president, but she could make a fine White House intern.

Look how comfortable she is with the monster in her mouth! You can see her salivating. That’s what makes conservative women different – when they open their mouth it is not just talk. The will lower our taxes just as they get down.

Can you even imagine a liberal women giving our corn dogs this much pleasure?

Hey Bill, Hillary has way too much class and much political savvy to be caught on camera deep-throating a corn dog. You can’t say as much for either Bachmann or Perry.

    Seriously,

Way more fun with a potential President who has the right attitude. Check out the look in the guy’s eyes in the bottom corner. He looks familiar. Think I’ve seen him in the background of a couple porn flicks. Anyway, I can, and would actually like to, relate to this candidate (if you know what I mean). this is one candidate I can’t actually say I find anything offensive coming out (or in) of her mouth… haha. Anyway, not physically tragic for an older woman (you’ll need to see real time photos if you haven’t). Man, if she can get Sarah Palin to run as VP… yeah, that’s what I’m talking about. I might be voting for attitude next election.
