Let’s Just Say He’s Pro-Gun

The amount the NRA has given Sen. John McCain (R-Az) over the years, more than anyone else in Congress. McCain recently voted against a ban that would keep people on the federal No-Fly list from buying guns.

The federal no fly list is not a list of people that are guilty of anything and is not just a list of foreign citizens ….. It is a list of people that can be added for any reason …. like you were on a flight and someone didn’t like the title of a book you were reading, thought it sounded subversive, called your name into the airline, etc ….. So not allowing people to buy guns based on a name being put on this list is absolutely absurd. If American citizens are added to this list, are not notified that they have even been added to the list and don’t know until they try to fly or try to buy a gun what you have just done is directly infringed on someone’s constitutionally protected rights without due process under the law and force them to get a lawyer and go through a long and expensive process just to be able to practice their rights …… so in that single act you’ve violated the second and 5th/15th amendment due process clauses of the constitution …… this law would never pass muster in it’s first go round in a real court.

Does anyone, seriously want our “big brother” government to have the authority to single out people that the government will not let buy or own guns, even though the person has no charges against? Maybe this would be OK in Russia. Not in my USA.
