The other Republican running for the same Senate seat as Florida Gov. Charlie Crist is as rightwing as they come. But don’t take my word for it, take his. Former Florida House Speaker Marco Rubio tweeted the following message: “I have no problem with President giving political speech to kids……..if his name is REAGAN!”

In yet another one of his quote-marked, not-proof-read, bombastic “press releases,” Republican Party of Florida Chairman Jim Greer lashed out at President Obama for a speech he is planning to give Sept. 8. The nationwide address, the first ever aimed directly at American schoolchildren by a U.S. president, sounds pretty dang bad, according to Greer.

For all her histrionics about not accepting stimulus money, guess whose state got the most, per capita? According to a fascinating resource, Alaska is receiving $1,024.28 for each of its 686,293 Alaskans.
California is (obviously) getting the largest total amount: a whopping $15,719,496,704 to be exact. But that only breaks down to $427.66 for each [...]

I understand that the RPOF is trying to reach out to blacks, but I’m just not certain how to take [...]

The leadership of the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) is many things (dumber than a sack of hammers comes to mind), but one thing they do know how to do is stay on message. And like most Republican messaging, it matters little how true the message may be because as we’ve seen time and again, [...]
