Will you are not part of the problem you are the problem. It is your type of idiocy which seems destined to destroy this country.

My guess is that you contribute 50 bucks a month for health insurance but your employer pays the rest and beleive me it is a lot. A self employed person, - whether they smoke pot or not - can face 800 dollars per month for coverage pretty easily. Your emplyer likley pays several hundred dollars a month on your behalf. Which unless i miss my guess means that if those 1 in 4 californians sold those big screens they might get one half months premiums.

And what is it with the Cons and big screens. Every time i see one of theses idiots like Will write something they mention big screens. I wonder if they just have an aversion of some sort, i know lots of cons with pretty large tvs, but I guess I don't know just what makes a big screen. Mine is 26 inch, which is bigger than my folks ever had so is that a bg screen? Perhaps will could enlighten us since he seems so hung up on them, how many inch tv does it take to be a big screen?

The adults are on extended vacation and have left the lords and ladies of the flies in charge, but they've taken leave of their senses. These right-wing-nut-jobs are so bitter about a black man being president they can't even see straight, let alone think logically.

Unfortunately, you can't fix stupid. FOX News and the dittoheads to the Right bask in their ignorance, while completely ignoring facts. Just watch how pretty much all of them work...

First, a questionable story breaks. The Right plasters it all over the net, radio, and TV without fact checking it. They exhaust the story until others find it to be false. At this point, they just drop the story without anymore mention. They do not backtrack on their words, but rather let the rumors radiate. Welcome to the Right Wing propaganda machine user manual!

I think you said it best. It is probably safe to say that neither of us would be allowed to teach in Texas schools. We would have trouble following their rewritten text.

I saw a rude crowd being interviewed on one of the news channels recently. They were proud members of the Tea Bag party. My most favorite quote from the interview was the man who leaned into the camera and said, "I want us to keep the constitution as Jesus wrote it."

Enough said.

Someone tweeted this story link and I thought it must be a joke. Seems like everything coming out of the corporate owned propaganda creation stream is so outrageous I can't believe it's serious. But they are... and it is.

Why let the facts get in the way of yet another Swiftboat smear?

FAUX Gnus is without a doubt a criminal organization. We have the constitutional right to free speech. However, free speech does not include a consistent long term pattern of lying, slander and libel.

In fact, one could argue that the pattern of lies, slander and libel is actually treason, since their objective is to interfere with the voting process as well as to bring down a legitimately elected U.S. Government.

Pretty funny..

I thought the same thing (What earthquake?) at first, but figured Obama knew what he was talking about (he did) being from Hawaii.

The teabaggers and/or righties and other assorted kooks champed at the bit to blog about what-the-hell-is-Obama-talking-about? etc.

Now, see the difference between rational thought processes and irrational thought processes teabaggers and/or righties and the rest of you kooks?

No? Didn't think so...

Exactly, Ethel. I couldn't say it any better than you already have. Some Christians have decided that their earthly agendas supercede their duty to be truthful and fair in their dealings as the Bible commands them to do.

Truth in journalism ended during the last century. Truth and the true teachings of Christianity has been traded for power and false political-prophets.

Fundamental Christians seem to scare easily and religions like to keep the masses scared and under control. Christians today have forgotten the cumbersome tenet of the Golden Rule. Therefore, there is no need to check facts or tell the truth in the magazine.
