Amount Arkansas U.S. Senate candidate Tom Cotton (R) disbursed to Right Solutions Partners for “fund-raising consulting,” the New York Times reports. “But here’s the catch: It’s not clear that such an entity actually exists. It has no presence on the Internet, it appears that no other campaign is paying it this year, and it has no office at the Washington address listed on the articles of organization filed with the city last year.”


Craig’s ’07 Arrest in Sex Sting Continues to Cost Him


Amount a federal judge in the District of Columbia has ordered former Sen. Larry Craig (R-ID) to pay to the Department of the Treasury in relation to his 2007 arrest in a Minnesota airport bathroom sex sting, Roll Call reports. The Federal Election Commission filed the complaint against Craig in 2012, alleging he illegally converted campaign money for personal use because the legal expenditures were not “made in connection with Mr. Craig’s campaign for federal office.”

Christie’s Approval Rating Remains High


Gov. Chris Christie’s (R) approval rate, with just 32% disapproving, a new Monmouth University/Asbury Park Press poll shows. In addition, 52% say they don’t believe Christie was involved in the plot to punish the mayor of Fort Lee, NJ by creating a traffic jam on the George Washington Bridge, while 34% believe he was involved.
